Kentucky Mountain Bible College invites applications for the position of Director of Enrollment Management. KMBC is a Christ-centered discipleship community committed to preparing servant leaders for the Church and the world. Rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, the College affirms a theology shaped by holiness, grace, and a clear call to Spirit-filled Christian living.
KMBC seeks a relational, organized, and mission-minded leader who is passionate about Christian higher education and student recruitment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of the College, an ability to build meaningful relationships with prospective students and families, and the leadership skills necessary to guide the College’s admissions and recruitment efforts.
The Director of Enrollment Management provides Christ-centered leadership for student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment initiatives. This individual will develop and implement strategies that strengthen the prospective-student pipeline, improve communication and follow-up, support sustainable enrollment growth, and help prospective students discern whether KMBC is the right place for their educational and spiritual preparation.
The Director will work closely with College leadership, Public Relations, Financial Aid, faculty, staff, and other departments to provide an effective and personal enrollment experience from initial inquiry through matriculation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the College’s student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment efforts.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy consistent with the mission and goals of the College.
- Oversee the prospective-student process from initial inquiry through application, acceptance, deposit, and enrollment.
- Establish enrollment goals, monitor recruitment activity, evaluate results, and use relevant data to guide decision-making.
- Strengthen systems for prospective-student communication, application follow-up, campus visits, and enrollment completion.
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective students and families throughout the recruitment and admissions process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with churches, Christian schools, camps, ministries, pastors, youth leaders, alumni, and other organizations that can connect prospective students with KMBC.
- Provide leadership and direction to personnel serving in admissions and recruitment roles.
- Coordinate recruitment travel, college fairs, church visits, camps, conferences, and other appropriate recruitment opportunities.
- Provide leadership for campus visits, preview events, and other prospective-student experiences.
- Collaborate with the Public Relations and Advancement departments to develop recruitment materials, campaigns, events, and communication strategies.
- Work closely with Financial Aid and other appropriate offices to help prospective students and families navigate the enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate enrollment records, reports, projections, and recruitment data.
- Evaluate recruitment strategies and recommend changes that strengthen enrollment effectiveness.
- Represent the College at recruitment events, churches, schools, camps, conferences, and other appropriate venues.
- Maintain an active and visible presence within the KMBC campus community.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the administration.
Qualifications
- A clear Christian testimony and a Spirit-guided life, with a demonstrated commitment to the mission, doctrine, and goals of Kentucky Mountain Bible College.
- A strong commitment to Christian higher education and the preparation of students for faithful Christian service.
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
Experience in enrollment management, admissions, recruitment, higher education, ministry leadership, marketing, sales, or a related field. - Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, plan, and manage multiple areas of responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to connect effectively with prospective students, parents, pastors, ministry leaders, faculty, staff, and current students.
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Experience developing recruitment strategies, managing projects, and evaluating results.
- Ability to work with enrollment data, goals, reports, and measurable outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for recruitment and institutional representation.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of recruitment activities and College events.
- Commitment to serving on location and participating fully in the life of the KMBC campus community.

Employment Status: Full-Time, Salaried
Location: On location at Kentucky Mountain Bible College in Jackson, Kentucky
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
Housing and Compensation: Housing and compensation package available for commissioned workers
