Kentucky Mountain Bible College invites applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment & Student Success. KMBC is a Christ-centered discipleship community committed to preparing servant leaders for the Church and the world. Rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, the College affirms a theology shaped by holiness, grace, and a clear call to Spirit-filled Christian living.

KMBC seeks a relational and strategic leader who is passionate about Christian higher education, student recruitment, and the development of a campus community in which students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of the College, an ability to build meaningful relationships with prospective students and families, and the leadership skills necessary to guide enrollment and student-success initiatives.

The Vice President for Enrollment & Student Success provides Christ-centered leadership for the College’s recruitment, enrollment, retention, and student-development efforts. This individual will work closely with the President, Administrative Council, faculty, and staff to develop and implement strategies that support sustainable enrollment growth and help students flourish throughout their college experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and student success.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy consistent with the mission and goals of the College.
  • Oversee the recruitment process from initial inquiry through enrollment, including communication with prospective students and families.
  • Build relationships with churches, schools, camps, ministries, alumni, and other organizations that can connect prospective students with KMBC.
  • Provide leadership and direction to personnel serving in admissions, recruitment, and student-success roles.
  • Establish enrollment goals, monitor recruitment activity, evaluate results, and use relevant data to guide decision-making.
  • Strengthen systems for prospective-student communication, campus visits, application follow-up, and enrollment completion.
  • Collaborate with the Public Relations and Advancement departments to develop recruitment materials, campaigns, events, and communication strategies.
  • Work with faculty and staff to identify and address factors affecting student retention, persistence, and overall success.
  • Support initiatives that encourage students’ academic progress, spiritual formation, personal development, and engagement in campus life.
  • Develop strong relationships with current students and maintain an active, visible presence within the campus community.
  • Partner with the President and Administrative Council in institutional planning, budgeting, policy development, and strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the College at recruitment events, conferences, churches, camps, and other appropriate venues.
  • Serve as a member of the Administrative Council.
    Assist with other duties as assigned by the administration.

Qualifications

  • A clear Christian testimony and a Spirit-guided life, with a demonstrated commitment to the mission, doctrine, and goals of Kentucky Mountain Bible College.
  • A strong commitment to Christian higher education and the spiritual, academic, and personal development of students.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in enrollment management, admissions, student development, higher education, ministry leadership, marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, plan, and manage multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to connect effectively with prospective students, parents, pastors, ministry leaders, faculty, staff, and current students.
  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively as part of an administrative team.
  • Experience developing recruitment strategies, managing projects, and evaluating results.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for recruitment and institutional representation.
  • Commitment to serving on location and participating fully in the life of the KMBC campus community.

Location: On location at Kentucky Mountain Bible College in Jackson, Kentucky
Education: Master’s degree preferred
Housing and Compensation: Housing and compensation package available for commissioned workers
