Tyndale University College sprang to life this past week as alumni, students, staff, faculty and the local community joined to celebrate their new home on Bayview Ave in Toronto, Ontario. The Campus Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony marked a milestone for Tyndale University College & Seminary.
The opening celebrations brought the community and neighborhood together to celebrate God’s provision. After the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in the morning, Tyndale gathered for the Dedication Service in the chapel. The service was a time to join together in worship and praise with special musical guests including the Toronto Mass Choir and Dr. Melissa Davis, Sessional Lecturer in Music & Worship Arts. Dr. Gary V. Nelson led members of Tyndale’s Board of Governors, students, faculty, staff and friends of Tyndale in the litany of dedication and prayers of support.
“This is one of the most beautiful sacred spaces in the city,” said Dr. Gary Nelson, Tyndale president. “We’re thankful the Sisters of St. Joseph value a theology of architecture and space. They built this magnificent chapel and motherhouse which we now call Tyndale University College & Tyndale Seminary. God has brought us to this place for this time and the future with a great call and a great sense of mission.”
We rejoice with Tyndale University College & Seminary on this milestone.
