Moore-SteveSteve Moore, currently serving as president of MissioNexus, will join the executive team of ABHE in the summer of 2015 to establish and lead the Center for Excellence in Leadership and other initiatives for the highest capacity students across the Association.

Steve Moore, President of MissioNexus, North America’s largest and most inclusive network of Great Commission oriented evangelicals, will join the Association for Biblical Higher Education team upon the conclusion of his MissioNexus service in summer 2015. By establishing and directing ABHE’s Center for Excellence in Leadership, Steve will create, lead, and seek to multiply leadership development opportunities for ABHE’s highest capacity students and, in time, perhaps many others as opportunity presents itself for collaboration on a continental and global scale. He will lead in leveraging the collective strength of ABHE member institutions to shine a brighter light on the value of leadership service and elevate the dynamic of peer learning to realize the vision of hundreds of ABHE students from dozens of member institutions deeply engaged, enriched, inspired, and networked to engender in the emerging generation passionate, authentic, and effective leadership for kingdom initiatives that accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Steve has lent his voice, counsel, and gifts to ABHE as a Senior Fellow for the past several years. His personal life mission is to inspire and equip others to live a focused life, finish well and join with God in blessing the nations with a special focus on developing leaders. Steve’s ministry has taken him around the world. He has provided leadership for teams serving in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. He has written numerous articles about leadership, and his monthly video blog, Learning @ the Speed of Life, is widely viewed by mission leaders around the world. Steve’s book, The Dream Cycle: Leveraging the Power of Personal Growth, was released in March 2004. His book, While You Were Micro-Sleeping, based on his popular video blog, was released in the fall of 2009. Who is My Neighbor? was released in the spring of 2011 and his latest book, Seize the Vuja De, was released in 2013. Steve and his wife Sherry have four children, and they currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
