Assistant Director of Admissions for Graduate and Adult Programs

Position Overview:

This position assists in the numeric growth in graduate and adult degree completion students.

 

The Assistant Director of Admissions for Graduate and Adult Programs works closely with the Director to administer and direct outreach and recruitment efforts aimed at increasing prospective students for both the School of Graduate Studies and the School of Professional Studies at Hope International University.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to:

  1. Recruit new, returning, adult re-entry, international, and graduate students
  2. Remains current on recruitment/transition programs,
  3. Administers, as directed, pre-enrollment events that require university-wide collaboration
  4. Participates in the recruitment of established partnership programs.

     

Qualifications:
  1. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree, with 3-5 years of admissions experience, or equivalent experience in recruiting and marketing in an educational and/or corporate environment
  2. Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications and admissions tracking software desirable; Recruiting and marketing techniques.
  3. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
    Mental Demands: Self-motivated professionals who can effectively set and attain goals; Interact with others in a highly professional manner and communicate effectively with diverse audiences; Workload includes some weekends and evenings.
  4. Physical Demands: Adequate strength and health to handle all recruitment related duties. Some local travel required.
  5. Visual Demands: Adequate visual endurance and acuity to handle all recruitment duties.
  6. Environment: Adequate adaptability to handle all recruitment related environments.
