IT/Web Leadership Development ConferenceThe Association for Biblical Higher Education is
pleased to offer a first-ever Campus
Web/IT Leadership Development Conference the weekend of
November 14-16, 2008 (Friday evening through Sunday morning). The Conference will focus on
responsibilities and expectations, skill development, and problem solving that
are inherent to the position. We will
also be discussing ABHE Web/IT resources for member institutions and exploring
ways ABHE can help provide better networking and resources in the future. Instruction and extensive small group interaction
and mentoring will be provided by a select cadre of Web/IT experts with
successful experience on ABHE campuses.
The conference will be held at the Wingate Inn, a
short distance from Orlando
International Airport.
The lodging, food, and program costs for each
participant will be covered by the ABHE Leadership
Development for Biblical Higher Education Fund.
Delegates will be responsible only for transportation costs. Previous participants have offered high
praise and heartfelt gratitude for the provision of similar professional
development experiences.
The conference is limited to 25 participants – one
per institution, please. If your
institution wishes to send more than one delegate, we will accommodate such
requests after September 15th on a space-available basis. Those
who wish to participate in the conference should e-mail
conferences@abhe.org to request registration information. Registration must be complete by September 1
to be guaranteed a space.
