The Association for Biblical Higher Education is pleased to offer a Chief Academic Officers’ Leadership Development Conference as part of our Leadership in Biblical Higher Education Program the weekend of October 17-19.  The weekend will be primarily for ABHE chief academic officers who are in their first three years of office.  Participation will be open to other academic officers as space permits.    The program will focus on academic administrative responsibilities and expectations, skill development, and problem solving that are inherent to the position.  There will be a mix of presentations with small group discussion, mentoring, and informal reflection and fellowship.  The instruction and mentoring will be provided by a dynamic team of veteran chief academic officers.    The weekend conference will be held at the Wingate Inn—Orlando Airport, a short distance from Orlando International Airport (www.wingateorlandoairport.com).   

The lodging, food, and program costs for each participant will be covered by the ABHE Leadership Development for Biblical Higher Education Fund.  There is a $25 registration fee and delegates will be responsible for their own transportation.   If you wish to participate in the conference, please e-mail conferences@abhe.org to see if you qualify for attendance and check on availability.    We are planning to cap the conference at 25 delegates I do hope you will be able to take advantage of this unique professional development opportunity.
