ICETE International Consultation for Theological Educators:
October 5-9, 2009

ABHE is a member agency of ICETE, a global community linking eight continental/regional networks of theological schools under the auspices of the World Evangelical Alliance (www.icete-edu.org). In addition to its ongoing activities to stimulate and provide resources for excellence and biblical-missional fidelity in higher education, ICETE will host its next ICETE International Consultation for Theological Educators October 5-9, 2009 in Sopron, Hungary. The distinguished international evangelical scholars Bishop Hwa Yung of Malaysia, and Professor Henri Blocher of France, will be among principal speakers at the event. The Consultation’s theme is: Energising Community: Theological Education’s Relational Mandate. ICETE’s triennial international consultations are widely popular for offering evangelical theological educators an unrivalled opportunity for peer professional interaction at global level.

ABHE will be represented at the October 2-5 ICETE Colloquium by President Ralph Enlow, Commission on Accreditation Director Randall Bell, and Board Secretary Ronald Kroll. Additional members of the ABHE Board are tentatively planning to attend the October 5-9 Consultation. Interested delegates from any ABHE member institution will be eligible for a 50% discount on the Consultation fee.
